About Us:  A visit to the St. Lawrence Miner’s Memorial Museum will showcase  the harsh realities of a Miner’s Life.

Visit the replica and hear the stories of the American ships of the U.S. Navy which were wrecked near St. Lawrence.

The “USS Pollux” ran ashore at Lawn Point while the “USS Truxtun” met her fate in Chamber Cove. Hear stories of the heroism of the local people and their willingness to give their all on behalf of the shipwrecked seamen.
